No photo updates (yet), but as of this morning, she has gained a nice layer of fat over her hips and shoulder blades. It's not a great gain, but it's at least a sign that she's headed in the right direction.
Talala's udder is also looking amazingly good, hopefully will be ready by May's show.

Welcome to the farm!
Welcome to Bodoway Farms blog. I may not post all that much, though there will be plenty of photos! I do have a website, critescaprines.webs.com that has a list of all the goats I own.
Right now, the focus will be on Jenny, my skinny doe, and her progress, and Talala, my FF, whom I'm busy rebuilding her milk suppy since she was almost dry when I got her.
First, Jenny.
Weight 4/18/11: 120
Method: Heartgirth measurement
BCS: 1-1 1/2
Feed: free-choice alfalfa hay, whatever she gets out of 3 scoops alfalfa pellets, 1 scoop calf manna, 1/2 scoop 16% dairy ration, which is most of it.
